- The Indianapolis JW Marriott lighting project presented some unique challenges in terms of both construction and installation.
- The design called for a mix of materials, from rigid leather and nearly elastic fabric. To eliminate binding, wrinkles and other visual effects, bo-mar stretched each shade over a metal frame.
- The design also allowed very little room for error during installation – including five fixtures in a row with only 1/16 inch variance. To solve this problem, bo-mar designed a hidden ladder system with built-in junction boxes.
- The installer said that hanging the lights was a breeze – and that when they hung the lights they were “perfect.”
