- The Indianapolis Convention Center lighting project involves more than meets the eye – literally.
- The goal of the project was to create a more energy efficient lighting system, decommissioning old fixtures and replacing them with new panels. While they were more efficient, the new panels were also a lot heavier. To handle the weight, bo-mar created a substructure that allowed them to be mounted in the center pod area (which is stronger), while still providing easy access for maintenance and installation.
- bo-mar created a fixture to help remove the old fixtures and install the new fixtures throughout the space.
- As a result, the contractor was able to complete the installation in half the time. They said it was the smoothest job they had ever pulled off in terms time and money spent on installation.
